Hanifaru Bay

Hanifaru Bay, located in the crystal clear waters of the Baa Atoll UNESCO biosphere reserve, is world renowned as the largest manta ray feeding hotspot in the world and offers a rare chance to see these graceful creatures in their natural habitat.

KIHAA Maldives is uniquely positioned as the closest resort to Hanifaru Bay, meaning that you are just a few short moments from snorkelling in a part of the ocean rich with marine life and where an encounter with a manta ray or whale shark is more likely than anywhere else on the planet.

We will be running three trips per week from KIHAA to Hanifaru Bay (weather permitting) and for those who wish to make this memorable experience even more special we also offer private excursions for just the two of you accompanied by our resident marine biologist, who is on-hand to offer their insight and expertise throughout.
